Discrimination in the Workplace – Understanding the Basics
George Green LLP is inviting employers to an interactive workshop which aims to assist organisations with understanding the law on discrimination.
What will the workshop cover?
The workshop will explore the different types of discrimination, as well as examining the nine protected characteristics and who is protected by discrimination legislation. We will also have a more detailed look at disability discrimination and how far the duty to make reasonable adjustments goes.
The workshop will involve delegates working through some case studies in relation to the above and it will conclude by having a look at good practice to be implemented in the workplace.
Who is the session aimed at?
The event is aimed at HR managers and assistants, as well as managers.
