Reported M&A transactions in January across the country showed a significant decline year on year, but Midlands law firm George Green bucked the trend by boasting a record start to the year.

January’s transactions included advising Bakk AL Holdings on its acquisition of Bakkavor Group, the sale of Accutronics to NASDAQ listed Ultralife Corporation, advising Olive Communications on its £15.25m refinance, including BGF investment, and Convergence Group’s acquisition of Network First.
