George Green LLP donate 180 gifts to local families in need

Staff at George Green LLP have donated 180 toys and gifts for children aged 0-16 who are being supported by The Black Country Women’s Refuge.

This week, staff spent time wrapping the donated gifts which included books, board games, puzzles, dolls, toy cars, action figures, teddy bears, gift sets and more. These gifts were then collected by the charity this morning and will handed out to the children of families currently being supported by The Black Country Women’s Refuge, who may have otherwise gone without a gift this Christmas.

BCWA offer a range of support for children and young people who have been affected by relationship abuse, domestic abuse in the home; rape and sexual violence, and child sexual exploitation.

This activity was co-ordinated by Family Law Associate Richard Port, who works closely with the refuge, and Administration Officer Annalisa Tanner.

Annalisa commented "I am always blown away by the generosity of the staff at George Green and would once again like to thank everyone who donated to such a worthy cause. This fundraising activity was so successful last year and I am so pleased that we were able to replicate this again this year - well done team GG."

Richard commented: “I could not be more proud to be part of George Green LLP. The whole firm have gotten behind this initiative from donating, to wrapping presents wearing Santa hats listening to Christmas hits. The firm is a leading example of giving back to the community and really helping others in times of need."
