George Green Partners recognised as Leading Individuals

George Green Partners recognised as Leading Individuals in latest Chambers & Partners High Net Worth directory.

The latest edition of Chambers & Partners High Net Worth directory (“Chambers HNW”) which benchmarks lawyers and law firms operating in the private wealth sector (including wills and probate disputes) using a market research based model, has just been published. This has once again confirmed the success of George Green’s strategy, which puts clients first, with two of its partners  being awarded “leading individuals” status following the researchers’ enquiries of the firm’s clients and other market participants.

Feedback contained in Chambers HNW quoted from interviewees, describes the firm as follows:

“The firm as a whole, despite its growth, has maintained its family values, and this permeates everything they do”

“They make you feel like an individual and take the time to listen and develop bespoke solutions for your particular needs”

Head of Private Client at the firm, Claire Pottinger, is marked out as a “Leading Individual” with interviewees’ comments being quoted as follows:

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with [Claire]; I think she is an exceptional professional.”

“I have been made to feel like a known individual as opposed to just a number on the client list. I feel I received a very personal and thorough professional service and believe all advice was given in my best interest.”

Dispute Resolution Partner, James Coles, who spearheads the firm’s Contentious Probate Practice is also awarded the coveted “Leading Individual“ status with interviewees feedback noted as follows:

“James was a calming influence when negotiations became tricky, and he was adept at managing not only the legal aspects of the case, but the inter-personal side as well.”

“James was very firm, very assertive and takes no prisoners but he is sensitive to the particular demands of litigating trust and estates.”

David Stevenson, Chief Executive of George Green commented “at George Green we do not compromise on putting clients at the centre of our business. It is an important part of our service promise that we look after clients well and in so doing, do what is said on the tin. I am delighted therefore with the latest Chambers & Partners research which confirms we are doing just that.”

He added “Congratulations then to James and Claire but, vitally, congratulations also to all of those around them and across the Firm who work so hard to support them”.
