SFE re-accreditation for the George Green private client team.

Three members of our private client department have once again successfully passed their SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award. This qualification focuses on understanding the key illnesses and frailties of old age and vulnerability, e.g. hearing, sight, capacity, mobility, dementia, meaning that SFE members are able to provide the best support to their clients. They also learn the skills to help them check that their clients are not being pressured, coerced or abused.

SFE is a national association of independent lawyers who specialise in providing independent and confidential legal advice to older clients whilst taking into consideration the mental and physical difficulties which can affect older and vulnerable clients.

Our private client fee earners have a wealth of experience and training which helps to put clients at ease when dealing with complex, life changing issues. Our team, endeavours to provide legal advice that is in the best interests of our older or vulnerable clients, respecting their dignity and communicating in easy, understandable language whilst explaining any necessary legal terminology.

Head of private client, Claire Pottinger commented: “I don’t think any of us could believe how much time had passed since we last sat this exam, but the fact that we have all once again passed with flying colours highlights the continued strength of the team and the fact that the core values and qualities required are imbedded in our day to day practice."

George Green LLP is a leading full service law firm and recognised as such in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Our lawyers make a difference by helping our clients succeed. We have offices in Cradley Heath and Wolverhampton.
