Overview of Amy’s practice
Amy is a Partner and employment law specialist based in our Wolverhampton office. She has over 16 years’ experience in advising on employment law, and prides herself in providing clients with practical, solutions driven advice.
Amy advises predominantly executive level employees and corporate clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including discrimination, termination of employment, TUPE, business reorganisations, employment contracts and policies and procedures. She has a wealth of experience in handling Employment Tribunal disputes. Amy also regularly delivers training to employers on employment and HR matters.
Amy has specialist experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals and works closely with the Firm's Corporate team to advise clients on the employment law aspects of transactional matters.
Amy is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and sits on the Board of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
Recent experience
Advising two directors on the terms of their exit from a large company in the design and manufacturing sector;
Advising a corporate client in the financial services sector on the employment law aspects of multiple acquisitions of similar businesses, including specialist advice on the application of TUPE in relation to those transactions;
Providing advice and representation to a corporate client in Employment Tribunal proceedings involving allegations of race discrimination and achieving a positive resolution through representation at a Judicial Mediation;
Providing ongoing general HR and Employment law advice and support as the trusted adviser to a number of corporate clients with our relationships spanning many years.

Amy spends time with her family (which is rather large!), likes to read and do yoga.
