Overview of Emma’s practice
Emma joined George Green as a trainee in 2013. She has been head of the Property Department since 2022. Emma acts for a wide range of clients including investors, lenders, charities, individual and corporate landlords and tenants, pension trustees and investment funds. Emma deals with a full range of transaction types, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, options, overage and secured lending.
Recent Experience
- Acted for an investment fund on the acquisition of a site subject to a development funding agreement with a developer to build out the site, to include a supermarket and drive through coffee establishment. The transaction involved agreements for lease, leases, an option agreement, a sub-sale structure and overage.
- Acting for the lender in connection with the provision of a facility to refinance and restructure a major retail chain.
- Acting in connection with the purchase of a multi-let local industrial estate.
- Acting for a buyer in connection in the acquisition of a new care home and refinance of existing care homes.

Emma enjoys outdoor pursuits such as hiking, running and snow-boarding and loves spending time adventuring with her husband and three children.
