Kate was originally called to the Bar in 2006 and worked as a legal assistant to the late Sir Christopher Staughton after completing her Bar Vocational Course and then went on to assist all of the Arbitrators at 20 Essex Street Chambers.

Kate cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and, during her period of cross-qualification, she worked for a number of firms and organisations including Speechly Bircham (now Charles Russell Speechlys) in their prestigious private client department and the London Borough of Camden in their Adult Social Services department.

Kate is a highly accomplished private client solicitor, having successfully owned and managed her own practice prior to joining George Green. Kate also sat on the committee of the Private Client Section of the Law Society from March 2016 to January 2022 and was Chair of the Committee from November 2020 to January 2022.

Kate’s expertise includes estate planning, Will drafting, preparing powers of attorney, estate administration, trust creation and Court of Protection applications.

It’s not all work and no play….

Outside of work, Kate enjoys clay pigeon shooting, walking her two German Shepherd’s and is currently training for her trek to Mera Peak in the Himalayas in 2025 having already reached Everest Base Camp in January 2024.
