Overview of Thomas’ practice
Thomas is a Trainee Solicitor, currently in the Commercial Property Department. He has already completed seats in both the Corporate and Employment departments. Before starting at George Green, he graduated from Durham University in 2021 with a First-Class Honours Law Degree before achieving a Distinction in his LPC LLM from the University of Law in 2022. In his current seat he assists with a range of matters including commercial lettings, acting for both Tenant and Landlord, and the acquisition and disposal of both freehold and leasehold commercial properties, acting for both Seller and Buyer. In addition, he assists the corporate department with the property side of their transactions. Thomas also has more general property experience, having carried out multiple reconstruction of deeds and first registrations.
Recent experience
- Assisted with the transfer of 12 leasehold properties with a value of £1.5 million
- Assisted with the purchase of a plot of land by a school for £180,000
- Assisted the Corporate department with the property elements of an acquisition with a purchase price of in excess of £20 million

Thomas likes to keep fit and active. He is a keen runner and cyclist, having completed the Birmingham Triathlon in 2023 and both the Birmingham Half Marathon and Sutton Fun Run in 2024. He completed the Jurassic Coastal Walk with George Green in 2023 and he is looking forward to taking on the Derbyshire 3 Peaks with the firm this Summer! He spent much of his childhood in the Lake District and still tries to get up there for a hike when he can, accompanied by his Labrador Stella.

Tom graduated from Durham University in 2021 with a first class honours law degree and then obtained a distinction in his LPC LLM at the University of Law in Birmingham.
